
Kimchi-Jjigae (Kimchi Seafood stew)
Ingredients:
- 100g of sliced pork belly or bacon
- 100g of Korean kimchi
- 1 tablespoon of chopped garlic
- 1 tbsp korean pepper powder
- 1 tbsp korean chili paste (kojujang)
- 1 spring onion cut into 1 inch each
- 1 tofu diced
- 1 tbsp of japanese soy sauce
- 2 cup of water
- 2 tsp Sesame oil
Directions:
- Fry the pork belly with sesame oil, Add kojujang and garlic. Continue frying until the pork is quite cooked.
- Add the water, Bring to boil and add all the rest of the ingredients.
- Lower the heat and simmer the stew for around 5 more minutes.
